5351 – A KIR typing product for laboratories with 384 well Real-Time PCR systems. This product allows for 1 typing per tray.
Killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIR) are a family of cell surface receptors found on human Natural Killer (NK) cells. Certain KIR types interact with Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) Class I molecules to inhibit the activity of NK cells while other KIR types can stimulate NK activity. Both HLA and KIR molecules are highly polymorphic. The LinkSēq™ KIR typing test is a genotyping system for identifying all 15 KIR genes and 2 pseudogenes including both full length and deleted forms of 3DP1 and 2DS4 and allele-specific variants in 3DL1, 2DL1, and others.
This kit types one sample per 384 well tray. All necessary reagents included in kit.
